An elegant kitchen design has combined an abundance of space with stylish worktops and appliances.Estate agency Aberdein Considine Co set out the benefits of the design by Bett Homes in an article for the Press and Journal. It noted that in addition to a tasteful, formal dining room, the home features an expansive kitchen with a communal area for family gatherings and dining.The company also drew attention to the designs combination of roll-front work surfaces and attractive backsplash tiling behind the kitchen sink.Elsewhere it was observed that a range of appliances, including a built-in stainless-steel double oven and chimney-style hood, had helped to make the room highly functional. Such appliances had been further enhanced by under-unit lighting, the estate agency said.Earlier this month, Sally Bendelow, head of home design at Marks and Spencer, told the Belfast Telegraph that the kitchens status as the focal point of the home would encourage more people to test out new designs this year.
