Researchers in Wales have unveiled the details of a series of white goods aimed at helping elderly and disabled kitchen users. The Centre for Applied Internet Research (CAIR) at Glyndwr University has developed the Easy Line+ technology which adapts to suit the needs of individual users and allows them to work in their kitchens in safety and with greater confidence.Appliances are fitted with the smart monitoring technology which feeds into a central e-servant, which in turn relays to the user important information like when the milk in their fridge is about to go off or that the food they are cooking has finished.Commenting on the new technology, the centre said The role of these intelligent devices, and the overall system, is to provide responsive help, information, advice, notifications, warnings, etc at an appropriate level for each user, dependent on their particular ability, and flexible enough to cope with changing circumstances.Scientific innovation is also a part of kitchen products like food waste disposer units, such as those from Carron Phoenix.ADNFCR-1321-ID-19034054-ADNFCR
