Home improvement charity scheme announced for 2011

Residents have the chance to gain specialist advice on how to make home improvements by joining a charity scheme. The housing and homelessness charity Shelter is working alongside the Royal Institute of British Architects to run Architect in the House, which is a programme that is now in its 15th year, according to the Tewkesbury Admag. People who participate in Architect in the House will also have the chance to make their DIY dreams happen while raising money for charity. The website reported that an average of 255,000 questions based on home energy efficiency are posted on Twitter and Facebook daily.
