The winner of Gordon Ramseys Best Restaurant Award has opted for Silestone worktops and a Silestone Integrity sink for the kitchens of its new cookery school. Michelin star restaurant Casamia, which scooped the TV chefs award, is owned by brothers Jonray Sanchez-Iglesias and Peter Sanchez-Iglesias. The brothers latest project is a Bristol-based cookery school, which recently opted for more than 16 square metres of the new Silestone Cemento Spa finish from the Silestone Sports Series, fabricated and installed by Cosentino approved fabricator Shaw Stone Ltd and installed by Cathedral Kitchens. The cookery school also boasts a stunning new Silestone Integrity sink in Blanco Zeus. Silestone, by Cosentino worksurfaces, are made of 90 percent natural quartz crystal. Virtually non-porous, Silestone quartz worksurfaces have four to five times the flexural strength of granite and a high resistance to scratch, stain and heat. Silestone, which carries a ten-year warranty, is available in more than 60 colours with a shade and consistency not found in natural stone. The Silestone Integrity sink is created from one piece of Silestone, which integrates with Silestone worktops, allowing for a continuous design. The Integrity sink is the first to be constructed from one piece of Silestone and, like the worktops, has a high resistance to scratch, stain and heat. The Integrity sink is currently available in a single bowl format, measuring 41x51x15.5cm.
