An ideal home designed by top-end property site CoastalLiving.com has called upon stylish appliances from sink specialist Franke.The home revamp, carried out by top designers and architects, looked to reconcile spatial innovation with the classic feel they were seeking, a project involving cutting-edge products with subtle styling in the kitchen and elsewhere.Alongside cookware from Le Creuset and roman shades from Robert Allen, the sinks and fixtures for the ambitious kitchen area were provided by Swiss manufacturer Franke. The brands stainless steel sink was claimed to combine with a honed-marble countertop in a kitchen island unit allowing maximised food preparation space and buffet-style eating, while a punched-tin overlay to conceal the fridge also played a part in the ambitious kitchen design.A key participant in the revamp, interior designer Tammy Connor, told CoastalLiving.com People always congregate in the kitchen. Thats why we made it one of the most inviting rooms in the house.The site organised the overhaul of the coastal home as a tenth anniversary Ideal House, with the kitchen as so often in DIY and home improvement projects playing a central model in rethinking household space.
