No change in the White House kitchen as first chef retained

The next President of the United States may have won last Novembers election on an agenda of change but one thing will remain constant as he takes the White House his resident chef.Cristeta Comerford, known as Cris, became the first female head chef in White House history when she took over from Walter Scheib in 2005.Incoming First Lady Michelle Obama said that the current incumbent of the post was being kept on as she came so highly recommended by her former employers.Ms Obama said Cristeta Comerford brings such incredible talent to the White House operation and came very highly regarded from the Bush family.The Obama presidency will begin with the inauguration ceremony on January 20th.Whether cooking for the United States Commander-in-Chief or ones own family, the importance of good appliances in the kitchen is undeniable, such as a stylish ceramic sink.
