With many children setting off to university after the summer is over the time is right to start considering a kitchen renovation that may have been put off for years. This is the suggestion of Frank Turco - manager of colour, trend and design at The Home Depot - who noted that the kitchen is often the most utilised room in the property, the Sudbury Star reports. According to Mr Turco, upgrades to kitchen do not have to come at a hefty price, with a number of small-scale projects possible, including changing the kitchen taps. He stated Add a new backsplash, update the cabinetry hardware, introduce new lighting, change the faucet or paint the cabinetry to really make your kitchen cook.People were also advised to add a chandelier in the kitchen to add sophistication and better lighting. In the Miami Herald, Jennifer Bertrand recommended painting unusual areas of the kitchen, such as backsplashes, to help invigorate a tired room.
