The location of a kitchen sink is a vital aspect when it comes to making the room work efficiently, an expert has said.Zack Bruell, chef and owner of four restaurants in Cleveland, US, argued that while the kitchen is now regarded as the social centre of the home, it is also the place that requires the most functionality.Its where you prep food, cook, serve, eat and clean, he commented in an interview with News Canada.Mr Bruell suggested that in addition to having a nicely appointed sink, kitchen efficiency depends on having adequate refrigeration, appropriate cooking equipment and a sufficient prep area.He also claimed that restaurant-style kitchen taps with sprayer functions and additional pot filler options can make life much easier.Last week, meanwhile, US technology writer John Shalwick noted that instant hot water dispensers are also becoming increasingly common kitchen sink fixtures.
