Homeowners should create a timetable for their kitchen renovations to ensure they run smoothly, it has been suggested.Writing for Ahwatukee.com, Claudia Dabdoub, owner of Damore Interior Design Studio in the US, noted that kitchen designs are usually carried out in careful stages, meaning that there must be a schedule in place to ensure the work is properly integrated.Ms Dabdoub suggested that while homeowners are waiting for cabinetry to be installed, new flooring can be laid and the room can be painted. She added that once the cabinets are in place, countertops and other product installations can follow. In addition, Ms Dabdoub urged people to consult qualified professionals when selecting vital kitchen features like lighting, food waste disposal units and kitchen taps and sinks.George Clarke, home improvements expert at the Ideal Home Show, recently said that homeowners should try to open up their kitchens to natural light when redesigning the room.
