Kitchen design is a collaborative effort

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Homeowners tend to regard kitchen renovations as collaborative projects aimed at rejuvenating an overall space, new research suggests.According to a new survey by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) in the US, many people do not regard renovations as simply being a way of providing upgrades for a home such as new kitchen sinks and taps, but rather as a process in which interior and exterior spaces are literally reinvented as part of a collaborative effort between homeowner and designer, Kitchen Bath Design News reported.Indeed, the NARI survey showed that 49 per cent of homeowners regard outcome and design as the biggest factor in determining their level of satisfaction following a remodelling project.Meanwhile, 22 per cent of people said that having their needs met was the biggest determinant when it came to project satisfaction, while 20 per cent pointed to accessibility and timeliness of the remodeler during the project.
