Ikea is set to launch the next phase of its Ikea Kitchen Squad advertising campaign which will see the company offer tips on creating the best kitchen designs.The campaign, which will begin tonight (Wednesday 31st March) during Relocation, Relocation on Channel 4 depicts kitchen renovations at the homes of unsuspecting participants, Marketing Week reported.Hidden cameras were used to record the work as well as the reactions of people who return home to find that their kitchens have been replaced with brand new Ikea models. The Ikea Kitchen Squad also offer tips to help people create kitchens that suit their individual needs.The adverts feature genuine Ikea staff and installers as well as comedian Sanderson Jones, who plays the host of the spoof makeover show. Participants were nominated by their friends and family.Discussing design trends recently, the Chicago Tribune suggested that traditional two-handle kitchen taps will be replaced by more convenient alternatives this year.
