Grant unveils new kitchen features

Grant Instruments has launched its Sous Vide Expert range of installations, which includes innovative new kitchen taps. The products feature drain taps, three programmable temperature presets, a range of the most commonly used temperatures and a countdown timer, enabling kitchen users to be made aware of when food is fully prepared. Roy Homent, catering product manager at Grant Instruments, said Our new Expert range has been designed in collaboration with chefs and tested in their kitchens. Sous vide baths are becoming an essential piece of equipment for the modern professional kitchen as they not only improve the taste but also provide consistency and fail-safe results, Mr Homent also revealed that one of Grants baths has been used by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal on his Channel 4 show Hestons Mission Impossible. In an article on PlumbingPark.co.uk, Tile Depot representative David Fitzgerald claimed that kitchens in Britain are now becoming bolder and brighter.
