Making kitchens energy efficient is the latest development in home renovation, one expert has suggested. John Friswell of CCI Renovations stated that replacing old water tanks with an on-demand system will prevent hot water from the kitchen tap running out, Canwest News Service reported. He said With instant hot water, you get hot water always - and for as long as you want to open the tap.By carrying out an energy audit before any type of development project in the kitchen, people can assess what kind of savings can be made, Mr Friswell added. Many people are spending more on their kitchens, he remarked, with some individuals having up to three or four kitchen sinks, a few dishwashers and more than one fridge. Earlier this week, Halifax estate agents released a report that found those who are looking to purchase a new house choose a modern kitchen as the most attractive feature.
