Energy efficiency project includes kitchen tap replacements

A new community project in the US is aiming to improve the energy efficiency of homes through various kitchen and property changes.Tallahassee resident Willie Sapp has been one person to benefit from the citys new Neighborhood Reach Program, which conducted an energy audit on his home before making a number of alterations, wctv.tv reported.This included changing the kitchen tap, switching the lights to new compact fluorescent options and adding heating insulation.Commenting on the benefits the measures had brought to his home this winter, Mr Sapp said It is kind of sad when you lay in your bed and your bed is cold just like it is on the outside.
