Supermarket chain Aldi has teamed up with television chef Phil Vickery to get Britons back into the kitchen.Recent research by the company found that decreasing numbers of people in the UK are cooking meals from scratch at home.Aldi and Mr Vickery have now produced a book called Cuisinience Cooking, which contains a number of high-quality dishes that can be produced in under 20 minutes. We understand that modern living leaves little time or desire to slave over a hot stove, but its still important for the whole family to eat well together, said Mr Vickery.Aldi has created Cuisinience to show that high-quality cuisine doesnt have to be an inconvenience to your lifestyle - it just takes a little recipe know-how, which is where I come in.Mr Vickery turned out at a charity celebrity football match last week, showing his skills in front of 800 supporters.More than 6,000 was raised on the day, which also saw comedy actor Ralph Little make an appearance.
