Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

Some 24 per cent of people do not have traditional items such as a freezer or washing machine in their kitchen.New research conducted for home insurance provider Legal General has found that although the kitchen has remained the hub of the household, traditional items commonly found in the room are not in close to a quarter of peoples kitchens. In a study of the changing ways people see their homes and homelife, Legal General found that more than 85 per cent of people are now warming to the idea of buying an eco-friendly house.Indeed one in four respondents to the survey said they would like to live be completely self sufficient in relation to food and energy. We hear every day about average - the average salary, average house prices, the average person but the report has established that there is no longer an average household - we are all individual. In related news, another study for Legal General - conducted earlier this month - found that more people are choosing to stay at home in their spare time as a result of the credit crunch.ADNFCR-1321-ID-18691074-ADNFCR
