Q1. What is the difference between 3-in-1, 4-in-1 and 6-in-1?
A: 3-in-1: Hot, cold & 100°C boiling. 4-in-1: Hot, cold, boiling & filtered cold. 6-in-1: Hot, cold, boiling, filtered cold, chilled & sparkling water - all from one tap.
Q2. Which Franke boiling water tap models are there?
A: The main models are Mythos Water Hub & Maris Water Hub (6-in-1). Water Hub models have electronic and mechanical controls and a colour screen to control temperature and filtration.
Q3. What do I need under the sink?
A: You need space for the compact boiler tank (approx. 2L) and filter housing, plus a standard 13amp power socket. Franke tanks are fully insulated and include the filter.
Q4. Is filtered water included?
A: Yes. All Franke boiling water taps come with built-in 5-step filtration that reduces limescale, chlorine and impurities, improving taste and protecting the tank.
Q5. Are they safe to use with children at home?
A: Yes. All models have a child-safe lock. You need to press and hold or use a safety dial to dispense boiling water. The spout is also insulated to stay cool.
Q6. What finishes match my Franke sink?
A: Available in chrome, stainless steel, matt black, gold, copper, gunmetal and decor steel to match Fragranite and stainless steel sinks.
