The inaugural MakeIT! Furniture awards ceremony will take place at Oxfords National School of Furniture on June 13th, where visitors will be able to see a range of appliances that could complement their sink accessories. In addition to the awards, the first ever MakeIT! Furniture competition will be concluded on the day, which will see judges assess a wide selection of different pieces of furniture and interior design concepts. One of the judges Neil Stevenson said If youve got a proper craft skill you will always be able to earn a living, and if you have a real understanding of what youre doing you can then move on and take on other challenges. Mr Stevenson added that MakeIT! Furniture has done an excellent job in raising awareness of the furniture industry among schoolchildren. Individuals who are exploring the idea of making home improvements this summer may also be interested in a new range of kitchen taps from Franke. The World Interior Design Network has reported the companys launch of Olympus Spring and Pisa taps.
