Built-in screens moving into kitchens

Posted by Sinks on 27th Jun 2017

While built-in screens were previously believed to only feature in lounges and bedrooms, the technology is now being installed into many kitchens, an expert claims. The increase in people who have installed the features also suggests a broader trend for convergent design in the home, as television technology in kitchen and bathrooms is now starting to hit the crest of the wave, a Videotree spokesman has stated. Jeff Summers, sales manager at Videotree, said Now its [built-in screens] moving very rapidly into the home, and lots of designers are recommending it to people. At the moment its still a relatively elite area, but its becoming more affordable, and more and more people would like it as an aspect of their bathroom or kitchen. More people may also consider installing LED lighting in their kitchens, after Kevin McCloud from Channel 4s Grand Designs praised the technology. Mr McCloud claimed that the systems enable extraordinary things to happen in homes.ADNFCR-1321-ID-800525425-ADNFCR
