Govt plans will make life easier when home building

New proposals from the government are set to make building procedures easier for individuals who want to construct their own houses, it has been claimed. There are two main problems that are discouraging people from attempting homebuilding, which are financial concerns and land availability, according to a spokesman from Homebuilding and Renovating. However, the housing minister Grant Shapps has confirmed this week (May 3rd) that the coalition will assist people in constructing their own homes by putting its money where its mouth is.Jason Orme, editor at the UK magazine, said There are various policies and plans in place and this is just the first in hopefully a series of announcements that will make life easier for UK self-builders.Mr Orne also asserted that self-builders have the same constraints as most of the UKs housing developers when it comes to lending, meaning that more access to finance is needed.ADNFCR-1321-ID-800521951-ADNFCR
