I'd say 90% of my family's Christmas takes place in the kitchen - cooking, preparing, washing up, opening up another bottle of wine. It all goes on here - with the help of one very large double kitchen sink which just about copes with the fourteen or so of us who descend on the one house each year. Which brings me on to this video, one of my first memories of TV advertising working on me - back in Christmas 1987, I NEEDED this toy, but the idea of swiss roll and beans has never appealed...
