Tap Manufacturer Perrin & Rowe have teamed up with Sink Producer Shaws of Darwen to form a mutual partnership.

As Perrin & Rowe kitchen taps and Shaws of Darwen kitchen sinks are frequently sold hand in hand and most of the time, installed together in private homes, resorts, spas and even luxury hotels all over the world, it was a natural decision for Perrin & Rowe to produce an exclusive range of Shaws of Darwen branded taps and in return for Shaws of Darwen to develop an exclusive range of Perrin & Rowe kitchen sinks.

The new Shaws of Darwen Waterside Collection tap range, all named after Lancashire villages local to the Shaws factory, includes a monobloc (single hole) mixer tap with lever handles, two deck mounted bridge mixers and traditional style deck mounted bibcock taps. The Waterside Collection of taps are supplied complete with Shaws of Darwen hot and cold ceramic indices, have quarter-turn ceramic valves and extended length flexible tail pipes for easy installation. These beautiful taps require a minimum 0.2 bar pressure for installation, so will work equally well with either low or high pressure plumbing systems.

We like a slice of traditional at Sinks.co.uk, which is why these Perrin and Rowe kitchen taps, which is why we like these taps (pictured)...they some how manage to look both modern and classical at the same time. Nice work Perrin & Rowe!

 

 

Well it would have to be from the people behind Perrin & Rowe taps, wouldn't it?

Behold, ladies and gents - the most expensive tap in the world. 

The design (pictured) by Zaha Hadid is inspired by the flow of water. A touch sensitive electric button is used to activate the filtered water. A green halo light glows when operational, and flashed red when the water treatment cartridge needs replacing.

We think it's pretty darn nifty. We just have to find a way of affording the £5k price tag.  Sheesh!
