To set a new sink purchase off, we recommend getting a 60 mm strainer for kitchen sink use. This one pictured is not only a nicer looking alternative to the bog standard plug, but is also effective in catching solids before they go down your drain. So the strainer gets full, you just pick it up and upturn it in to your food recycling bin/waste disposal unit. Pretty and useful!
