Sinks Sinks Blog

Looking for a universal single bowl plumb kit?

Our plumb kits are easy to use, and can be used by the professional or amateur, to attach to any kitchen ceramic sink. Easy, cheap and a total necessity if you want your sink in good working order.

Last week, we told you about our butler belfast sink category that was newly launched. We're adding to this list whenever we launch a new butler sink product, but we want to show off our sink with the wonderful medium of video as well. Like this beauty!

Thought we'd post this very cute video, just cos it's Friday.

Out of the ten people who saw this video, 9 people went 'Awww!' and one person said that it looked like an old man in a shower.

Butler Sinks - Hollywood Star Creates Sink-Related Pun

Posted by: louise in Untagged  on

We love sinks so much, that we often look online for sinks in our spare time. That's why we laughed when we saw this headline from tabloid rag The Sun... Instead of praising the values of kitchen sinks, it was actually a review of the lastest Gerard Butler film and how awful he is in it. Hence 'Butler Sinks'.

Geddit?!

Those eagle-eyed Sink.co.uk fans out there might have noticed a new category on our website today. We now have a few pages dedicated solely to butler sinks.

Butler sinks are pretty similar to belfast sinks and are great because they suit pretty much every type of kitchen style - from traditional to modern.

Here's one of my personal faves - deep, robust and charming :

We get a lot of people asking us how they put a basket strainer waste together. So, a budding Steven Spielberg in the office decided to film our basket strainer waste expert - (our Barry in the warehouse as we call him) out one together just for you!

Watch and learn:

Well it would have to be from the people behind Perrin & Rowe taps, wouldn't it?

Behold, ladies and gents - the most expensive tap in the world.

The design (pictured) by Zaha Hadid is inspired by the flow of water. A touch sensitive electric button is used to activate the filtered water. A green halo light glows when operational, and flashed red when the water treatment cartridge needs replacing.

We think it's pretty darn nifty. We just have to find a way of affording the £5k price tag.  Sheesh!

I got sent this picture of a funny looking undermounted sink this morning, so thought'd I'd stick it on today's blog. Although we're used to our kegs being full of beer, it's a novel approach to reusing old containers - we like!

So, did you get to see us? Channel 4, 9pm Sunday 2nd May saw our ceramic kitchen sinks televisual debut. For those of you who didn't get to see us, here's a shot of us in all our glory:

Don't we look gorgeous?!
